The designer Emily Bode was the first female to show at the New York Fashion Week Men’s, was a 2018 runner-up for the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund award and won the 2020's International Woolmark Prize. She was also nominated for 2019’s LVMH Prize.
Can you say a few words about your last collection?
The last collection was based on the education of my co-collaborator Benjamin Bloomstein. He’s the partner of Green River Project with Aaron Aujla. They do all the concept design for our shows as well as for our most recent store that just opened in Chinatown, New York. The collection revolves around his education, particularly in childhood, and how it was an unorthodox experience. It circled around themes of historical reuse and self-sufficienc...
